FRIDAY EVENING
Introductions & Intention Setting
Teaching Session 1: The Power of Mindset
Explore how becoming aware of our thoughts can transform our perception of the world. We’ll dive into what holds us back from feeling peaceful, clear, and balanced, and set the stage for practices throughout the weekend to help ground, center, and empower ourselves with inner strength.
Mindful Storytelling Practice
In this storytelling session, you’ll have the opportunity to share your own story and learn more about others. Rooted in ancient indigenous traditions and adapted for modern times, this practice fosters deep connection, listening, and understanding.
Practice Session: Meditation, Breathwork & Yoga Nidra
Experience deep relaxation and mental clarity through meditation, breathwork, and yoga nidra. These techniques release stress, tension, and stored emotions, reconnecting you with your inner calm and creating a profound sense of grounding and healing.
SATURDAY
Morning Meditation & Gentle Movement
Begin your day with mindful awareness and a connection to yourself through gentle movement and meditation to set a peaceful tone for the day ahead.
Sea Experience Meditation (Weather Permitting)
Engage your senses to fully immerse in nature through meditation and mindful walking. Experience the present moment more deeply as we explore the healing practice of "blue mind" or sea meditation.
Teaching Session 2: Mindfulness for Stress Reduction, Emotional Regulation, & Self-Compassion
Discover how the mind’s patterns contribute to stress and nervous system activation. Learn how mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices can help shift these patterns, enabling emotional regulation, greater peace, and deeper self-love. This session includes journaling and group discussion and integrates the natural environment we are in.
Practice Session: Cultivating Emotional Balance & Self-Compassion in YOUR life
Learn body-based techniques to self-regulate and embody self-compassion, tapping into your inner carer for support and healing.
Evening Sound Healing Session with Guest teacher Johanna Samad
Unwind with a soothing sound bath designed to melt away stress and anxiety, leaving you in a state of deep relaxation and peace.
SUNDAY
Morning Meditation & Gentle Movement (weather permitting outside)
Begin your day with mindful awareness and a connection to yourself through gentle movement and meditation to set a peaceful tone for the day ahead.
Teaching Session 3: Practical Tools & Strategies for Daily Life
Take home simple, effective tools to calm and soothe your nervous system, restoring balance and peace. Learn how to begin and maintain a sustainable mindfulness practice.
Closing Circle: End the retreat by reflecting on your experience, sharing insights, and saying goodbye in a closing circle.
* Optional 1-1 sound healing sessions will be available over the weekend at an extra cost.

What’s Included:
Accommodation: Enjoy ensuite bedroom suites or private bedrooms with stunning views. We have 4 large en-suite rooms and 4 comfortable private rooms with shared bathrooms. The shared bathrooms are shared with one other room and are right next to each bedroom. The cost reflects the different accommodation options - see below
Meals: Three nourishing meals are provided daily, with ingredients sourced locally and organically whenever possible. Mornings alternate between hot and continental breakfasts, and lunches and dinners feature a full salad bar alongside balanced hot meals with protein, vegetables, and a vegetarian option. A 24/7 beverage station offers coffee, tea, juices, and water. While the meals are designed to be wholesome and satisfying, guests with extensive dietary needs are welcome to bring their own supplemental items.
Activities: Experience 3 mindset teaching workshops, Emotional re-balancing and Self-compassion practice sessions, daily meditation, Gentle movement, Sea meditation workshop, Mindful storytelling practices, Sound healing workshop, Breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and more. In addition, there is a Labyrinth onsite to use as a meditation tool and walking trails for personal use.

Hi! I’m Miranda, a certified meditation teacher, resilience coach, and yoga therapist with over 25 years of experience. I work as a wellness facilitator for both Englewood Hospital and Optum, supporting Goldman Sachs employees. Specializing in stress management and resilience training, I also lead retreats, workshops, and online programs designed to help people live more balanced, content lives. Having studied with world-renowned teachers, I’m passionate about guiding others to find strength, joy, and peace. My two young sons, however, remain my greatest 'Zen Masters.'
