Practices and experiences included in the Restore Your Spirit, Renew Your Energy retreat:
The Retreat includes a powerful combination of modalities that can provide deep release, healing, clarity, insight, and shifts within. These include Meditation, Breathwork, Mindful Storytelling, Sound healing, Drum circles, Yoga Nidra, Gentle Yoga, and the possibility of a 1-1 sound healing session.
Meditation: Guided meditation sessions to explore the nature of mind, reduce stress and help you to connect inwards.
Forest bathing: Weather permitting, we'll explore the beautiful countryside around Wisdom House for a Forest Bathing experience. By engaging all five senses, you'll awaken to your connection with nature, leaving you inspired and more connected to yourself.
Breathwork & Yoga Nidra: Breathwork is a practice of consciously working with your breathing pattern, lying down, to music. The rhythmic breathing in breathwork helps put the mind into different meditative states. Putting our mind into meditative states in Yoga Nidra allows us to experience our thoughts, emotions, and situations in life in a different way compared to the analytical/thinking mind. It's also a space for going inwards and connecting with your inner truths and your heart's needs & desires.
Mindful Storytelling & Intention-Setting practices: These powerful sessions provide a safe place to share your true self and learn more about others. These practices, rooted in ancient indigenous traditions and used in modern settings, help people connect, listen, and understand one another on a deeper level.
Sound Healing for Self-Care: Taking care of yourself starts here. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to bring healing and balance to your body and mind using sound healing instruments. You'll have the chance to try various techniques that you can use daily to feel centered and grounded. Finally, relax and enjoy a soothing sound bath designed to wash away stress and anxiety.
Drum Circle: Come together in community and experience the power of the drum. Let go of your busy thoughts and follow the rhythm! Instruments are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Gentle Yoga: Enjoy gentle yoga and movement sessions throughout the weekend. These practices will help you strengthen your relationship with your body and listen more carefully to its messages.
1-1 sound healing session: The first 5 participants to sign up will be offered a 1-1 personalized sound healing session with Debbie
